236 PointsI've come across an issue of Xcode always running and not providing an output. I've had to force quit Xcode and restart. My Mac should be sufficient to run Xcode, so I'm thinking its a software issue.

3,719 PointsDepending on the version of xcode you are running, it may differ. Make sure you have the right hand side panel open, and then click the "play" button that will show after your last line of code.

iOS Development Techdegree Student 789 PointsWhen you open Xcode select "New Playground", the output column should be on the right hand side there, but only in Playgrounds. Hope that helps!
