I don't know how to make join work with this.

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"

sundaes = available.split(";")

menu = "Our available flavors are: {}."

menu.format(sundaes.join(","))

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"

sundaes = available.split(";")

menu = "Our available flavors are: {}."

nstr = ','.join(sundaes)
menu.format(nstr)

Moses, like this:

sundaes = available.split(";")
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(", ".join(sundaes))

Note: You use the format method directly on the String.

You are very close, you have to use ', '.join instead of ','.join (note the extra whitespace)
