The object is to use a ternary expression here.

Without giving a spoiler, here's a generic example of using a ternary:

YourVariable = (ComparisonExpression) ? Value_if_True : Value_if_False;

So using this, you can covert everything involving textColor into a single line.

Are you doing anything with the textColor variable? Maybe you need to Console.WriteLine it. Also, instead of initializing the string to null, initialize it to "" or String.Empty. That may prevent some weird bugs.
