I don't know how to answer this question, I'm not a native english speaker so I don't get what's the point of it

The question is "A GridPane allows you to put things into a table like solution of fill the blank here and columns." I have to fill the blank. While I think I pretty much understand what a GridPane is, I don't understand what is expected of me here. Please help.
