I don't get what the question wants , i put the try catch in the method drive and according to the example given by Crai

From this piece of code ..line 23 try {mBarsCount -= laps} catch (IllegalArgumentExceptio iae) {System.out.println("Not enough battery remains");}

Bummer! Are you sure you threw the illegalArgumentException if the requested amount is less than Zero.

They're not looking for a try/catch in this challenge. The method should look like this:

 public void drive(int laps) {

       if((mBarsCount - laps) > 0) {
        mBarsCount -= laps;  
       } else {
        throw new IllegalArgumentException("Not enough battery remains");
       }

  }
