I dont get what im doing wrong

String answerToLife = "42"; int answer = Integer.parsInt("answerToLife");

what am i doing wrong?

There are two issues:

You have a typo in the method name, you have typed parsInt instead of parseInt.
You only use quotes when you want to create a string, you should not use them when referencing the name of a variable, like you are doing in the second line.

If you fix that typo and remove the quotes from the second line like this:

String answerToLife = "42";
int answer = Integer.parseInt(answerToLife);

Then your code will work.
