I dont see what I did wrong its saying for the code to come out as L chalkey with the space and its saying its wrong that it need to come out as L Chalkey but thats exactly what its coming out too isk what to please hhelp

It's difficult for us to see where you're going wrong if you don't give us an example of the statement you entered.
I just had a bash at the code challenge and was able to pass it using the following SQL statement:
SELECT SUBSTR(first_name,1,1) AS "initial", last_name FROM customers;
Let us know what it was that was hindering you!
