I dont get how to do it with expressions....
public class ScrabblePlayer {
// A String representing all of the tiles that this player has
private String tiles;
public ScrabblePlayer() {
tiles = "";
}
public String getTiles() {
return tiles;
}
public void addTile(char tile) {
// TODO: Add the tile to tiles
tiles += tile;
}
public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
// TODO: Determine if user has the tile passed in
boolean isTile = tiles.indexOf(tile) != -1;
if (isTile){
}else{
}return isTile;
}
}

9,392 PointsYou ALMOST have it there. You just need to use your expression in the return statement. When we return with your expression, it returns TRUE or FALSE and that is what our method needs us to return (a boolean). It's just a more compact way of writing our code:
public class ScrabblePlayer {
// A String representing all of the tiles that this player has
private String tiles;
public ScrabblePlayer() {
tiles = "";
}
public String getTiles() {
return tiles;
}
public void addTile(char tile) {
// TODO: Add the tile to tiles
this.tiles += tile;
}
public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
// TODO: Determine if user has the tile passed in
return tiles.indexOf(tile) != -1;
}
}
