I do not understand what the question is asking

Please explain what I am doing wrong

def add(num1,num2)
    return (num1+num2)
ans = add(6,7)
print(ans)

You didn't typed colon after function

def add(num1, num2):

Your answer is correct however there is a syntax error. Add a colon after the function declaration.

def add(num1,num2):
    return (num1+num2)
