// I've imported java.io.Console for you. It is stored in a variable called console for you.
String name = console.readLine("What is your name?: ");
String pastTenseVerb = console.readLine("enter the verb to walk in past tense: ");

17,059 PointsHi, Ginette.
The words surrounded by the asterisks(*) need to be replaced by the variable value. For example the output to the console will be:
Ginette really rocked this coding exercise.
with name equal to "Ginette". and pastTenseVerb equal to "rocked".
Your code was almost correct. I have provided a working solution below. Note the last two lines of your code above have been removed/ edited.
String name = console.readLine("What is your name?: ");
String pastTenseVerb = console.readLine("enter the verb to walk in past tense: ");
console.printf("%s really %s this coding exercise.", name, pastTenseVerb );
Hope this helps.
All the best.
