Courses Plus Student 352 Pointsi did not understand the second task
i just could not wrap my head around this task
let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0
// Enter your code below
while counter < numbers.count{
print(numbers[counter])
counter += 1
}

The first is to figure out how to retrieve each value from the numbers
array using the counter
as the index. That you have actually done successfully with the numbers[counter]
code.
The second is to add that value to the sum
variable, that is the part you are not doing. Instead you print the value out, which is not what the task requested.
The instructions provide two examples of how you can add one value to another sum = sum + newValue
or the shorthand sum += newValue
. If you use that code instead of the print code you have currently like this:
let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0
// Enter your code below
while counter < numbers.count {
sum += numbers[counter]
counter += 1
}
Then your code will work.
