this keeps saying "Oops! It looks like Task 1 is no longer passing."
import random
start = 5
def even_odd(num):
return not num % 2
while start > 0:
num = random.randint(1,99)
if even_odd(num) == False
print ("{} is odd".format(num))
else:
print ("{} is even".format(num))
start -= 1
# If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
# Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.

- while start:
- and remember it wants you to have start be falsey, its already falsey so in the if statement you need to fix that with evaluating even_odd with num. dont forget your colon

Yes you did everything correct except for one small syntax error... you forgot a colon after your if
statement.
