14,268 PointsI'd imagine it's because you nested your nav inside the link around your logo. Update that section to:
<header>
<a href="index.html">
<h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
<h2>Designer</h2>
</a>
<nav>
<ul>
<li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
<li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
<li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
</ul>
</nav>
</header>

7,382 PointsWhen I follow the code challenge link it says not to add any list items or anchors. Try deleting what you have between your unordered list tags. If that doesn't work let us know what the error text says.
