i can't figure it out guys, what is the solution?

I cant seem to figure it

lists.py 
states = [
    'ACTIVE',
    ['red', 'green', 'blue'] 
  del states(:),
    'CANCELLED',
    'FINISHED',
    5,
]

To remove an item from a list, use the .remove() as requested in the challenge.

From the docs, https://docs.python.org/3/tutorial/datastructures.html:

list.remove(x) Remove the first item from the list whose value is x. It is an error if there is no such item.

So to remove the item 5 from the list:

states.remove(5)
