3,400 PointsTechnically speaking you can add any type of file, re-arrange and rename the folders in the Treehouse workspace. You can also input the files from anywhere on your local machine as long as you have the permissions to do so. Technically you only need to keep the index.html file in your main directory in the workspace. Keep in mind that you need to insert the correct pathway in direct or reletive links and the correct HTML tags for them to show up correctly on your web page.
As for uploading them just drag and drop the images into the lower left corner of the workspace, not the folder where you want them to be and then drag them to the correct folder. If that is a bit redundant open the folder where you want the images to be and select file from the top ribbon and finally select insert file. This way is my preferred method because I skip a few steps and save a little bit of time. If it simply does not work this way then you are having another issue.

Treehouse TeacherDo the images happen to be inside a .zip file or some other compressed archive? If that's the case, you'll need to extract them first before you can upload them
