I can't code without the help of the Teacher

Hello, when I watch the Java Tutorials I can code along with them and understand alot but I can't do it alone, I couldnt sit done and write the Stickman Program without the instructions of the Teacher that is very unmotavating for me :(

Hi Mats Main!

Programming is all about problem solving. Of course it's good to have someone around to guide you, but eventually you have to start handling problems on your own and start coding on your own! For this reason, I suggest you to take a step back and solve challenges that you have previously solved. You will realize that there are pieces of code that you have written yourself, even if you haven't completely understood them yet. Reinforcing your knowledge and asking questions based on what you already know are essential parts of problem solving.

So if you are in doubt, go back to what you already know, revise and relearn, and ask yourself "What is it that I don't understand?". If you can find an answer to this question, then you can start searching for solution! And if there is something that you don't know, you can always ask your question on this forum!

And last but not least, don't be affraid to make mistakes. Mistakes are a sign of what we don't understand, they point to ward the next step we have to take to successfully overcome the challenge ahead.
