Python Python Basics (2015) Logic in Python Try and Except

I cannot seem to figure out this problem, could someone help me?

def add(num1, num2): return num1 + num2 fl_num1 = float(num1) fl_num2 = float(num2) return fl_num1 + fl_num2

trial.py
def add(num1, num2):
    return num1 + num2
fl_num1 = float(num1)
fl_num2 = float(num2)
return fl_num1 + fl_num2

Its saying to add in the functionality... like change the num1 and num2 from the first task

I am sorry but I do not understand your explanation.

Remove what you did and change return num1 + num2 to where they are floats float(num1) + float(num2)
