I've tried zipped and unzipped and it gives an error. Does it matter if im using windows or not?..

Can you post your code here?
try to unzip all the files in to the same folder where is your index.html file and select each image path in your code. for example:

<img src="img/img1.png" alt="this is img1 in the same folder where my index.html file is">
