what is the question trying to convey?
class GoKart {
public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
private String color;
private int barCount;
private int lapsDriven;
public GoKart(String color) {
this.color = color;
}
public String getColor() {
return color;
}
public void charge() {
barCount = MAX_BARS;
}
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
return barCount == 0;
}
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
return MAX_BARS == barCount;
}
public void drive(int lapsToBeDriven) {
lapsDriven+= lapsToBeDriven;
barCount--;
}

Treehouse TeacherHi there! Let's see if I can rephrase this a bit and get you started. Right now, our drive
method takes no parameters. Each time we run it, the GoKart goes exactly one lap... no more and no less. We would like a variation on that drive
method that could take the number of laps to run instead of just one every time. Maybe I want to tell the GoKart to run 3 laps instead of just one. The parameter will be of type int
because we're never going to tell the GoKart to run 3.298 laps. That would be silly
The lapsDriven should be incremented by the number of laps we told it to run. So if we told it to run 3, lapsDriven
should be incremented by 3. Then we decrease the energy bar by the same amount.
Hope this helps!
edited for additional hint The only thing missing from your code right now is that we might have told the GoKart to run 3 laps. You're incrementing by that number, but you're still only depleting the energy bar by one.
