I am trying to put a button on XML Project

Hi everyone, I trying to put a botton where the question mark is at I tryed everything But can't figure it out. http://tinypic.com/r/sqnhuu/9

That area is part of the theme/frame called the App Bar. You'll also see older material refer to it as the Action Bar. Adding a button there is a little different because there are conventions you are expected to adhere to.

Oh okay Thank You. In the video from Treehouse he did not say anything about the App Bar but there was a custom text there. I just don't want to leave it blank you know. My Whatsapp number is (804) 939-8749. How can I add my text there so I can continue threw the course?
