Front End Web Development Techdegree Student 1,704 PointsI am stuck on a python code challenge and what I am typing is valid
I am doing it correctly I guess I just have to do it the exact right format
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes=available.split(";")
menu="Our available flavors are: {}."
display_menu=", ".join(sundaes)
menu.format(display_menu)

Treehouse TeacherHi there! You're very close and syntactically it's correct, but it doesn't do exactly what the instructions say. That last line formats the menu
with the display_menu
in place, but the results aren't saved anywhere. It's wanting the ending value of menu
to be the menu
formatted with display_menu
.
So, if I add menu =
to the beginning of your last line of code, it passes all three steps. Good work as you were almost there.
Hope this helps!
