I am stuck, help!

Not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions?

Trying to get the function to print the name and 'hello' combined

creating_functions.py 
def hello_student(name):
    name = ('Ed')
    greet = ('hello')
    st = greet + name
    return st

hello_student(st)

Hey Edward Randall, you’re very close!

  • a space is needed between the string words
  • the H in Hello needs to be capitalized

Yes I added the space and capitalized H in Hello. However when I do check work I get 'st' is not defined.

The variable st is only defined inside the function. Using st in the func call is an undefined variable. Replace the st in the call to the function with a defined string such as ”Ed”.

Remember to assign the returned value to hello
