I am putting index.html in btween the "" for <a herf= and it isn't allowing it as a right answer please help

how do I make this answer fit the quiz properly?

There is just a little spelling mistake in your code: it's href, not herf. :)

You have a syntax error in your closing </a> tag. It is reading </la> when it should read </a>
