First you need to create a new intent object. The constructor expects a Context as the first parameter so you can pass LaunchActivity.this as the context. For the second parameter you pass FlightActivity.class which is the class of the new activity that you want to start. Then to start the new activity you call startActivity() and pass to it the intent you created before. Let me know if you more questions about this.
