Nevermind. After 2 1/2 hours I figured it out. Basically I had to unzip the file (wp-template-hierarchy), drag the css folder into the folder (template-hierarchy) then drag that folder out of the wp-template-hierarchy folder) then zip the template-hierarchy file, then upload it. Love treehouse for the clear direction.

You have spelled hierarchy incorrectly on your folder. Perhaps this is the issue?

Well I decided to keep going through the video, and once i created the menu like zac did, my styling look like his. But I still have a side nav. That says Seach for..., Recent, Post Recent, and Comments..ect Im sure there is a way to turn that off. In the admin settings?

Might depend on your theme. Mine does. The option to turn it off is part of my theme options.

Well its the theme that Treehouse gives you called "Template Hierarchy". Yeah you were right, I can edit it in widgets.

None of these recommendations work. I don't know what to do at this point. I have the Twenty Fourteen template installed. Do I need the WP template hierarchy installed?
