I didn't get the question where i have to set data or get from mFuelLevel varriable.
import android.os.Bundle;
public class FlightActivity extends Activity {
public int mFuelLevel = 0;
@Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_flight);
Intent i = getIntent();
int mFuelLevel = i.getStringExtra("FUEL_LEVEL");
// Add your code below!

132,143 PointsYou could pull a String but that would then doing a conversion on it (perhaps using the Integer class). All the Intent getXXXExtra methods take a second parameter for the default which is why you got the error you did. Using the getIntExtra method wouldn't require a conversion to int.
int mFuelLevel = i.getIntExtra("FUEL_LEVEL", -1);
