First remove: public static void main(String[] args)

In the first step of the challenge you just need:

String firstName = "adithya";

Also, there is no sort method for the String class and I'm not sure why you are trying to sort since the challenge is not asking for that, so remove:

sort = firstName.sort();
System.out.println(sort);

Then, use console.printf instead of System.out.println:

console.printf("<YOUR NAME> can code in Java!");

Finally, use a string formatter for the last part:

String firstName = "adithya";
console.printf("%s can code in Java!", firstName);
