29,502 PointsI am lost as to the setup on setting up the charging loop given the example of the pez dispenser.
I am not sure how to set this up. I need to write a loop checking the status of mbarscount and if it is equal to 0 or less than MAX_ENERGY_BARS and to increment mBarsCount to equal MAX_ENERGY_BARS if it is less than the constant.
public class GoKart {
public static final int MAX_ENERGY_BARS = 8;
private String mColor;
private int mBarsCount;
public GoKart(String color) {
mColor = color;
mBarsCount = 0;
}
public String getColor() {
return mColor;
}
public void charge() {
mBarsCount = MAX_ENERGY_BARS;
}
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
return mBarsCount == 0;
}
public boolean charging(){
boolean notcharged = true;
if (mbars}
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
return mBarsCount == MAX_ENERGY_BARS;
}
}

I think the question mentions using a while
loop in the (existing) charge
method and the isFullyCharged
helper method too. Don't create a new method but rewrite the current charge
method.
So, you want to loop through and increment mBarsCount
while the isFullyCharged
method returns false.
Something like:
while(!isFullyCharged()){
mBarsCount++;
}
I hope that works, I'm not at my computer now to check it!
Steve.
