21,320 PointsI am installing wordpress locally, but I am not asked for my database information it skips that step entirely.
Is this okay when I moved forward I had issues with my theme showing in my locally installed wp. So I started over and noticed that my install does not ask for my database information. Is there a way that I can correct this or is this okay?

Database information stored in wp-config.php file, Have you removed your entire directory before getting started? if you haven't, it won't ask you again for DB information and take you directly to choose site name, admin user, etc.
