I am getting java.util.NoSuchElementException error in repl. My code is:

public class Game { private String mAnswer; private String mHits; private String mMisses;

public Game(String answer) { mAnswer = answer; mHits = ""; mMisses = "";

}

public boolean applyGuess(char letter) { boolean isHit = mAnswer.indexOf(letter) >=0; if (isHit) { mHits += letter; }else { mMisses += letter; } return mHits; }

your method applyGuess is returning a char, but expects boolean

You are returning "return mHits;", instead of "return isHit";

Your method "applyGuess()" returns a boolean not a string.

mHits variable is a String

isHit variable is a boolean

Therefore, you should return isHit;

public boolean applyGuess(char letter) { boolean isHit = mAnswer.indexOf(letter) >=0; if (isHit) { mHits += letter; }else { mMisses += letter; } return isHit; }

Hope that helps!
