I am deeply sorry for asking again and skip me if you have seen my help messages before but how do you retrieve the Ints

I don't understand how to retrieve the value

loops.swift
let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

// Enter your code below
while counter < numbers.count {
counter += 1
}

while counter < numbers {
sum += numbers counter
counter += 1
}

Hi Rico! So, you get the numbers from the array in the original while loop (you don't need to make a second one). To get the values in the array using the counter as the index, you can use bracket notation: numbers[counter]. You also need to put this above the incrementing of the counter otherwise the index will be one higher than you want it to be:

while counter < numbers.count {
  sum += numbers[counter]
  counter += 1
}

Hope this helps - let me know if you have any questions ???
