I don't know what's wrong in this code. I put it in a workspaces and it seems to work fine. Where is the misktake?
store_open = None
store_hours = [9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18]
time = 12
if time in store_hours:
store_open = True
else:
store_open = False

This challenge is a little confusing since the instructions tell you that the person who created the challenge will be creating a variable, which can mislead you into thinking you have to create it for them.
You don't need to mention the variable in your code, just follow the instructions Kenneth asks you to perform and it will pass.
You nearly had it though, great work :D
The code below will pass:
store_open = None
store_hours = [9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18]
if time in store_hours:
store_open = True
else:
store_open = False
