you seem to have accidentally pasted in
<ul>
</section>
<footer>
which is throwing everything out of whack. Also, the Challenge only ever asks for 3 <li>
where you have 5, and states that you should not add any links or captions.

6,814 PointsThe problem is that your code is just too messy. There's two opening <footer> tags but only one closing </footer> tag. Also, there's one opening <section> tag but two closing </section> tags. Try starting the challenge over but be more diligent with the organization of your code. You simply want to place the unordered list within the <section> </section> tags.

6,971 PointsYou placed an extra <ul> tag above the actual <ul>, delete and you should be good! Make sure you indent your code that way you reduce errors!
