i added a catch block and it says i didnt(challenge task)

it says did u add a catch block that catches the thrown exception an i did here is my code:

try { Console.WriteLine(string.Format("You entered {0}",value)); } catch(Exception) { Console.WriteLine("Value is out of bounds!"); } hope someone could help me( this is challenge task)

int value = int.Parse(Console.ReadLine());

if (value < 0 || value > 20)
{
    throw new System.Exception();
}
try
{
    Console.WriteLine(string.Format("You entered {0}",value));
}
catch(Exception)
{
    Console.WriteLine("Value is out of bounds!");

You added the try block below the thrown exeption. The catch block will only do something, if an exception occured within the try block.

The correct code should look like this:

int value = int.Parse(Console.ReadLine());

try
{
    if (value < 0 || value > 20)
    {
        throw new System.Exception();
    }
    Console.WriteLine(string.Format("You entered {0}",value));
}
catch(System.Exception)
{
    Console.WriteLine("Value is out of bounds!");
}
