http error message when uploading file to site

I can upload images but when I try to upload with a PDF or Word file (.docx) to a page I get "http error" and it won't upload. I was able to do this at first (I have several docs that uploaded fine) but not anymore. It doesn't matter what browser I am in or what theme/page I am in. Any ideas?

Does the http error come with a number? That could be handy information
