Each time I pass task 2 and proceed to task 3, I submit my task and it says that my task 2 is incorrect. What is the correct syntax for task 2 and 3?

Your anchor element isn't wrapping on your nav list items, each nav list item text should be wrapped in your anchor element like so: (Otherwise they wouldn't receive the Hyperlink and would be unable to be used as nav items.)

you should wrap list items in the anchor tag. ex: <li><a href="">text</a></li>
