The quiz differentiated between these two as areas to develop customer relationship strategies for. How would you distinguish between these two areas both in terms of definition and in terms of strategic approach?
Thx

7,803 PointsProduct discovery is making the customer aware of the product to begin with (think marketing). They might not be aware that you have a solution to their problem or they might not even know they have the problem you are solving with your product. -Discovery requires you to get a person's attention.
Customer Acquisition is convincing the person they need your product (think sales). This is where you convert a person who now knows about your product into a person that is buying your product. -Customer Acquisition requires you to convince the person that the pain of giving you money is less than the pain of not having your product.
