how do i use the for function correctly? what im i doing wrong?

print(items)
if items = "STOP":

21,074 PointsYou need to loop over each element in the parameter "items" that your function is receiving and you have to check if the current item is equal to the string "STOP" if that happens you have to break the loop. You could do it like this:
def loopy(items):
# Code goes here
for item in items:
if item == "STOP":
break
print(item)
