You want the loop to continue while
the response
is equal to "No"
. This is a string.
So, in your while
condition, compare response
to "No"
. If they are equal (use equals()
, not ==
for strings), let the loop continue.
Java doesn't know that the opposite of "No"
is "Yes"
- they are just two strings. So, you can't negate "Yes"
with !
to get a "No"
.
