how to set mType in the constructor

were did I go wrong and not put mType in the constructor

Spaceship.java

    public String mType;

  public class type{
    public type(){
      mType = "SHUTTLE";}
  }

    public String getType() {
      return mType;
    }

    public void setType(String type) {
      mType = type;
    }

You shouldn't create the inner class type, and the constructor's name should match the class name:

public Spaceship () {
    mType = "SHUTTLE";
}
