How to see code after code challenge?

After a successful code challenge, I often want to look at the code that worked, in order to study which version I tried was the right one. How do I remove the "Well Done!" / "Rate this challenge" page and go back to see my code from the challenge?

Thanks!

Hey John,

As of right now, you can't. I've sent the suggestion to the support team, as I recommend you do as well. Maybe the more people that request that feature...

Right now, what I do is take a screenshot before I "Check". If it's not correct I delete the screenshot, and try again. The correct response, I save the screenshot. Tedious and annoying... yes, but currently the only option. :( :dizzy:

You can "copy" the answer area.

I often want to be able to work with the code, so I highlight and copy the answer area instead of making a screenshot. Then, if I decide to keep it, I can open an editor (or restart the challenge) and paste it in.

As Steven has suggested, I would recommend that before you hit submit use the commands select all + copy and then paste that into your preferred text editor to review.

Hi Rob,

This problem used to happen with the quizzes. It would jump straight to the graph and you couldn't tell if you got the last answer correct or not. Then they were updated so that they stayed on the last question and there is a "Finish Quiz" button that takes you to the graph when you're ready.

I think if the code challenges worked the same way then it would solve this problem. It's frustrating when you don't remember to copy the code on a 5 task challenge.

Also, on database challenges I usually like to see the results of the query. You can't on the last task because it jumps straight to the graph. There's no way to copy this beforehand.

It would be great if there could be a "Finish challenge" button so it works like the quizzes.
