How to pass task 2 for "counting scrabble tiles"?

Could anyone please help me to pass task 2 of the counting scrabble tiles activity? I do pass the first task but I am unsure of what to do further.

You'll have to make a counter that increments appropriately for each tile using a for loop

  public int getCountOfLetter(char letter) { 
    int counter = 0;
    for (char newtile : tiles.toCharArray()) {
      if (newtile == letter) {
        counter ++;
      }
    }
    return counter;
