1,968 PointsHow to make responsive.css work in Safari?
Hi All
I have tested my code and it works fine in Chrome, however when re-sizing the browser in safari, none of the responsive changes take place. Any sugestions?

1,968 PointsHi Jennifer
Mine is Version 9.0.3 (11601.4.4)
Thanks
Jennifer Nordell
Treehouse TeacherHmmmm... then I don't know. Sorry.
Matthew Smart
12,567 PointsHi Jeremy, are you saying that literally nothing is changing at all, or things are not changing as expected.
Make a simple media query and place inside it body{ display:none; } If the body disappears you know that the media queries are not working at all. If this does work then we know something isn't working like it should.
Either way it will help to break down the issue.
Also could you provide the code used in responsive.css so we can check there are not any unexpected errors
Jeremy Dawson
1,968 PointsHi Matthew
The body code removed everything. However the test background colours made the back ground permanently blue, no colour changed when manipulating the browser size. Again this did however work as expected in Chrome.
It seems odd that the body display;none; worked perfectly.
Matthew Smart
12,567 PointsSo we know that your media queries will work. I would image that it there is a problem with your CSS somewhere that safari isn't handling to well. In order for us to figure this out we would need you to post your full css file with the html. This will allow us to replicate the issue and find a solution.

30 PointsTried myself as well. On my desktop that is running windows with chrome. Code checks out but on safari on mac i can't get the screen to go small enough. Guess its a bit of a pain but nothing too hard to get around.
