How to make a website - unable to make site active after following all steps in the videos.

I am following the lessons in the fronted development path and have reached the section on purchasing a domain, hosting and uploading the site. I have followed all the steps in the videos using the exact same sites as them (namecheap and dreamhost) but when i try to go to my domain via a browser I see a page stating the website cannot be found (this is not a dreamhost page like the one displayed in the video). When I try to upload the site files using Cyberduck i get a message stating that DNS lookup for the site failed.

I'm not sure of the steps that you followed, but my guess is that you need to change your namecheap DNS record to the dreamhost DNS.

I have already updated them to show the dreamhost DNS
