4,555 PointsHow to extract the value in a struct?
Current code:
struct Tag {
let name: String
}
struct Post {
let title: String
let author: String
let tag: Tag
func description() -> String {
return ("\(title) by \(author). Filed under \(tag)")
}
}
let firstPost = Post(title: "GoT", author: "GRRM", tag: Tag(name: "Book"))
let postDescription = firstPost.description()
I type this into Xcode and it runs fine, except the value of postDescription is: "My Title by My Author. Filed under Tag(name: "My Tag")" instead of the intended "My Title by My Author. Filed under My Tag". How do I achieve this?

17,654 PointsHi Gareth, could you please explain why this tag.name? i didnt fully understand that. In my code ( that didnt compile) i used this interpolation:
return "(title) by (author). Filed under (Tag)"
I thought that I could just insert the Tag here as a struct. Obviously I was wrong but I dont get why.
Thanks for your help
