How to disable VS Code hints and helper pop ups?

Hey all,

I've searched the web pretty extensively and the solutions I've found for my problem don't seem to work for me. With that being said - does anyone know if there is a way to disable the ungodly amount of "hints" that continuously pop up on VS code. It seems like a new one pops up after every letter i type and it's driving me crazy!
