i cant seem tp get the syntax right in adding the hover selector to the nav links

17,073 PointsBy adding the :hover pseudo element to the nav element, you are styling the entire nav bar to have a hover state, not just an individual link. You would want to target your anchor elements inside of your nav elements by writing
nav a:hover { color: #32673f; }
This way you are selecting the links inside of navigation element.
