How to access this static modifier.

We did not go over static at all. I have looked at microsoft examples.

FrogStats.cs
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
    class FrogStats
    {
        public static double GetAverageTongueLength(Frog[] frogs)
        {
            for(int i = 0; i < frogs.Length; i++)
            {
                   return frogs[i].TongueLength ;
            }
        }
    }
}
Frog.cs
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
    public class Frog
    {
        public int TongueLength { get; }

        public Frog(int tongueLength)
        {
            TongueLength = tongueLength;
        }
    }
}

The "static" modifier associates the item being declared (a method in this case) with the class itself instead of with each instance.

But since this challenge involves only adding code inside the method, the static nature of the method will not have any impact on the tasks you are instructed to do.
