How long did it take some of you to do web design, front-end and back-end track?

Mike gave a great answer, but I would like to add one more thing. When you are doing these courses, I would come up with a project that you can do on your own. That allows you to take your skills and experiment. Experimenting helps you learn a lot faster.

For web design, I would make a static site concentrating on the HTML and CSS. For front-end, I would take your CSS from web design and convert it to SASS. Also, I would add some Javascript and JQuery functionality. Finally, for back-end, I would try converting the site to Wordpress.

Once you have converted your site to Wordpress, the projects are endless. You can create your own theme or plugins.

Finally, start a Github account and get feedback on your work.

Its all depend on the time you invest in watching each video and your previous knowledge; for example if you know some of the materials in the course you can jump start to the quiz challenge to complete it faster; other why is to watch the video in 1.5 speed (Most of the basic curses are easy to follow) this way you can cover the material fast. after you complete the tracks you can go into the real advance stuff and work on your skill and code quality. [if you Invest some time in it you can finish each track with in 2-4 weeks]

I'm not so much invested in the time. I made a calendar and I should be done with Web Design and Front-end by mid-september! It's mostly because some of the stuff from front-end and web design overlap!

I have one more question. How do I get into the real advance stuff after? Do I go to the library or do my own projects?
