Treehouse Moderator 91,253 PointsHow exciting is the new "Digital Literacy" topic?
It's great to see, for want of maybe a better expression another Soft Skill topic to complement out coding and technology classes on Treehouse.
I've already spotted the first short course on Treehouse about understanding how computers work which I think gives an idea of the sort of courses being planned.
Treehouse gets more awesome. :)

2,435 PointsWow , that was amazing! I love the way you teach , very different than male teachers, and use really exciting and nice body language, it makes me even relaxed ( not like Sass - screaming xd) .
I loved the course , i understood it soo easy, i did reseach on it on yt , google etc.. , this is like the best video online ever , understood it in like 18 minutes?

Treehouse Guest TeacherThank you so much Konrad Pilch! You are so kind :) I'm writing as fast I can to build a second course under Digital Literacy to introduce Web Development and things you run into like HTTP, Domain names and IPs, etc. Stay tuned!
You made my day!

25,097 PointsJoy, I thought the course was amazing. Even though I have been programming for several years and I am fluent in a dozen languages, I still learned some interesting topics including Binary numbers and ways that computers recognize data from software programs. Thank you for the time you put in this course to make it amazing!

34,995 PointsI'm super excited for it! I'm always teaching kids about basic hardware, cause they are always trying to mod their computers( 50% of time frying them ). It'll be nice to simply send them to Treehouse for a change :)

33,856 PointsJonathan Grieve, it's exciting to see indeed. Treehouse appears to be skimming the surface of computer science with Computer Basics, and Joy Kesten confirmed as the teacher.

78,399 PointsI think they should have waited to add the "Digital Literacy" point count to our Treehouse Profile Page until it was actually POSSIBLE to earn some points in this subject area.
Just saying...
Oh...and here is Microsoft's Digital Literacy page:
